Travel Baseball Tryouts

The Shrub Oak Athletic Club starts its 52st season of youth baseball for our community in 2008. The object of the recreational baseball program is to teach the proper fundamentals, mechanics, rules, etiquette and strategies of the game of baseball at all levels in a fun environment. The Club offers baseball for ages 5 - 16. The ages of the different divisions are:
Instructional ( 5 - 6 )
Bantam ( 7 - 8 )
Minors ( 9 - 10 )
Majors ( 11 - 12 )
Ponies ( 13 - 16 )
The Shrub Oak Athletic Club baseball program also participates in the Westchester Putnam Baseball Association. This a competitive summer program for players that have the ability, desire and commitment to play a competitive schedule against other Travel teams from towns throughout Westchester, Putnam and Fairfield counties.
