Happy New Year
The Board of Directors, commissioners, coordinators, coaches and assistants wish everyone in the SOAC community a healthy and happy new year. As we start the new athletic seasons, we wish all the boys and girls play their best, make new friends and above all, have a great time. As always, our program is here to serve the community wherever we can. If you have any questions about our programs, do not hesitate to contact the club.
New Board Members Announced
A new SOAC Executive Board was voted into office this past November, and has completed its work in filling the
positions for the 2005-2006 Board of Directors. This all volunteer board is made up of members from each sport, and
looks forward to working with you and your children over the upcoming term.
The new faces on the board include two new directors of sports. Steve Fallo, has taken on the reigns as the softball director and brings 20 years of girls athletics experience to the board. Currently he is the Lakeland Girls Varsity Softball, Basketball and Volleyball coach. John Volpi, the new baseball director, is a former All-County baseball player at Yorktown High School, and a Four year starter/Honorable Mention All-America baseball player at Division 1 The College of William & Mary.
