The
AAA Minors Division, previously known as the Minors Division is for fourth and fifth graders (ages 9 & 10) is designed to continue providing fundamental instruction while placing more emphasis on game situations. This will be the first experience in a competitive game. Players will see live pitching from their peers using a regular hard ball, games will be officiated by umpires, scores will be kept, and playoffs will be introduced towards the end of the season for the spring season only. Teams will practice/play twice a week in the spring (once during the week and on Saturday's) and once a week on Saturday's or Friday evenings in the fall. Each team will play games lasting six innings or approximately two hours. Players will continue to learn and practice how to be part of a team (such as how to respect teammates, coaches, other players; and how to show good sportsmanship). Travel baseball players who are not yet in fourth grade are eligible to play in the minors division. All travel players must participate in the spring in house baseball program to be eligible to play travel baseball. 8 and under travel baseball players may participate in either the AA or AAA Minors divisions.
