Baseball Bat Information
Players in the Instructional/T-Ball, Bantam, and Minors Divisions, must use a bat approved through the USABat Standard. All legal baseball bats will have the USA Baseball stamp on the bat. All youth players above the Tee-Ball division are now permitted to use 2 5/8" barrel bats, in addition to 2 1/4" barrel bats, provided the bats carry the new USABat stamp seen below.
Tee-Ball bats are not required to undergo lab testing for approval under the USABat program. However, in order to be eligible for play, Tee-Ball bats must carry the USABat stamp that includes the text "Only For Use With Approved Tee Balls" noted below.
In the Majors (50/70) Baseball Division, players may use either USABat Standard bats or BBCOR bats. BBCOR bats must have the official BBCOR certified stamp marked on the bat.
