2025 Spring Football Clinic

This no-cost clinic will focus on skill work and fundamentals for those interested in tackle football. This clinic is open to all players in grades K-8. It will meet on the following Sundays: March 30, April 6, April 13, May 4 and May 18.

2025 School Break Camp: Spring Break

What is School Break Camp? School Break Camp is a camp for elementary aged students (grades K-5) in our community that will provide a safe, fun, familiar, and physically active learning environment. The idea behind the camp is to feature and promote multiple sports, cooperative games, sportsmanship, and overall fitness. Similar to physical education classes, School Break Camp will be structured for all kids to have fun while being physically active during periods of time when Lakeland CSD is on break from school! The camp will be run by licensed Physical Education teachers from within the Lakeland School District. Each session is strictly age appropriate for fair and safe activities!

When: Spring Break - April 14th - April 18th (Mon-Fri)

Time: 8am-11am

Where: Thomas Jefferson Elementary School

Attendees: All students grades K-5 in the LCSD (Grouped K-2 / 3-5)

Cost- $200

What to bring: Water bottle, non-perishable snack, proper footwear/clothing

Register early as a $25 late fee will be applied starting April 8.

Please note that all campers must be covered by their family’s medical insurance. The medical release must be provided before participating in any camp activity. SOAC insurance supplements your personal family coverage.

2025 SOAC Basketball Camp

SOAC Basketball Camp is a camp built for the families in our community (children entering grades 2-8 in the fall) that will provide your children a chance to learn the skills of basketball from the Lakeland and Panas High School coaches and alumni athletes.

When: 9AM - 12PM

Session 1: July 7 - July 11
Session 2: July 14 - July 18

Where: Lakeland High School

Cost: $200 per week

What to bring: Water bottle, snack, proper footwear/clothing

Campers will be provided with a t-shirt on the final day of camp session.

2025 Summer Sports Camp

Summer Sports Camp is a multi-sport All-day camp built for the families in our community (children entering grades 2-7 in the fall) that will provide your children a chance to enjoy playing with their friends while learning more from the sports from the Lakeland High School coaches and alumni athletes. Football, basketball, lacrosse and soccer will be represented! There are 2 one-week sessions, running Monday - Thursday 8:30-4:00 and Friday 8:30-12:00 The Each session is split by age and skill level

When: Session 1 July 21-25. Session 2 July 28-August 1

Where: Lakeland High School

Cost: $285

What to bring: Water bottle, Lunch, snack, proper footwear/clothing

2025 Spring Boys Lacrosse

Happy almost Spring!

We are happy to announce that registration for the Shrub Oak Athletic Club 2025 Boys Lacrosse Season is OPEN!

Eligibility: Boys in Kindergarten through 8^th Grade
Registration dates: Feb 1, 2025 – Feb 21, 2025
Season dates: Week of March 28 – June 1. Likely no practices/games on holidays (Easter, Spring Recess, Memorial Day, Mother’s Day). Specific dates vary by grade level, per the details below

Schedule Overview

We are working out details for field allocations with Lakeland Central School District, so while the below schedule should be close to locked in… dates and times are subject to change based on availability. We will provide additional details once available.

K-2 Grade:

Overview: Full equipment required. Games played against other programs
Practices: Sunday at 8.30am at Lakeland High School; Thursday at 6pm (Field TBD)
Games: To be set at the divisional level; details to be shared once finalized

3-4 Grade:

Overview: Full equipment required. Games played against other programs
Practices: Tuesday & Thursday, 6pm at Lakeland High School/Van Cort Elementary School
Games: To be set at the divisional level; details to be shared once finalized

5-6 Grade:

Overview: Full equipment required. Games played against other programs
Practices: Tuesday & Thursday, 7pm at Lakeland High School
Games: To be set at the divisional level; details to be shared once finalized

7-8 Grade:

Overview: Full equipment required. Games played against other programs
Practices: Monday & Wednesday, 7pm at Lakeland High School
Games: To be set at the divisional level; details to be shared once finalized

*Please remember you must be a current US Lacrosse member to register for the 2024 SOAC Boys Spring Lacrosse season. If you already registered with US Lacrosse, you can use your existing number.

2025 Spring Girls Lacrosse

Welcome to the 2025 Shrub Oak Girls Lacrosse Program! Below is an overview of our program offerings.

A Program For All Ages! The Shrub Oak Athletic Club's Girls Lacrosse Program gives area girls currently attending Kindergarten through 8th grade the opportunity to play the fastest growing game in the country. We offer an Instructional Clinic for our K - 2nd graders all the way through competitive grade based teams which practice and play 1 - 2 games per week against other local towns and villages throughout Westchester County. All the while with our coaches emphasis on building fundamental skills, learning positions, sportsmanship and understanding the game of lacrosse. Whether you are new to the game or a seasoned player this program is for you!
